Traveling Case for Kelsey 6x10 Victor

Hi,

I’m working on building a traveling case for my Kelsey 6x10 so I can take it to on-site workshops with me. I’m wondering if anyone has seen or built anything like this, and has advice? Also wondering if anyone has a manual with the exact specs (size and weight) of the standard Kelsey 6x10 Victor to send to the case makers, which might be slightly more informative than my own measurements.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Try to use a case builder that has built road cases for bands and production companies. Get a weight of the press if possible. They will use quality casters and flush handles that will fold down and quality locks. Many times, heavy gear like sound equipment, will just sit on a base with casters and the “box” will lift off of that base. You can still freely move the piece around as needed, then just put the box back on the base and off you go.

Yes, thanks, I am working with a case builder who primarily builds cases for music production - it was moving a case for a sound board that they’d built that gave me the initial idea that it would be possible to design a case for the press.
