David Godine at 50 Years of publishing

He is a letterpress printer and a well known book publisher. The New York Times had a nice story about him today titled “Looking Back on 50 Years of Making Beautiful Books.” The link is https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/17/books/looking-back-on-50-years-of-mak...

Godine hosted the ATF conference back in 2000 for a day at his New Hampshire summer home that I attended. The home once hosted Samuel Clemmons a century before and there was a series of framed photographs on the wall showing Clemmons musing about “What if…” while seated on the front porch of the house. And the house was filled with books, showing Godine’s passion about books.
