In search of pinion gear for newstyle 10x15 C&P
I figure it’s worth an ask here before having one made. Anyone happen to have one or have a lead to a press parts person?

What size press??
I have my machinist trying to figure out what tools to buy to make one for a 10 x 15. I have used pinion gears for 8 x 12s in stock, along with lots of other parts.

Also, John, I found someone locally who can make one, but it’s very expensive. If you are in need, perhaps he can make one for both of us and it would save some money? I have a pinion gear that he is making it from. It cracked in half. If it would be helpful, I can mail it to you once I have mine remade so your machinist can use it for a match.
Holland, my machinist has a pinion gear with a couple of broken teeth to use as a pattern. He’s just trying to figure which cutting tools to buy to make the gear. My machinist will probably cheaper than yours because he’s my grandson and he owes me.
I have my ad up for my C&P.If your near N.Y. you can come and remove it.If its easy to remove and am shown perhaps I could do it and ship.
