Looking for reliable shippers to move a Vandercook from Minnesota to Illinois — anyone have any recommendations? Struggling to find any reliable shippers via UShip, Shiply, etc.
Plycon Van lines used to be suggested for moving long distance moving of larger player instruments (orchestrions, organs, pianos, etc), not sure they’ll deal with machinery.
Depending on the situation, you may have to engage a machine mover or rigger to get the press to the curb or loading dock and another company to get it to the destination.
Trailer it. Safer, more reliable, and cheaper.
