New-style C&P 8x12 and type cabinet available

I’m looking to sell my C&P New Style 8x12 press, Serial No. B54081 (1915?), purchased from a defunct funeral home in Greensboro, NC, years ago, along with a type cabinet (somewhat idiosyncratically filled by the bible printer from whom I purchased it in San Antonio) and various accessories.

It’s in pretty decent condition and is, to the best of my knowledge, fully operable. I maintained and printed on it for years but then life made it impossible for me to keep printing on a big press (moving to tabletop), and now it’s sitting in storage in the garage. The rails are somewhat worn as you’d expect but work fine built up with tape. No treadle, but it works fine with hand spin or you could put a belt back on the motor. I have a couple of chases and three (maybe four) roller cores and some good nylon trucks, though the rollers are likely shot as I haven’t used them in 5+ years (haven’t unwrapped them to check).

It’s on a pallet for easy removal with a pallet jack down a driveway that is on a paved alley. The building is going to be demolished in the next few months. Make a reasonable cash offer (and please confirm you can come get it in Austin in September!). I’ll throw in various useful odds and ends (numbering machines, furniture, and so forth), and if you want it, a small cast aluminum desktop press of unknown provenance that I haven’t gotten around to restoring.

I’m having trouble uploading pictures, so feel free to contact me and I can send them.

I have a deep-relief Boxcar base for the C&P 8x12 that I used with it which I’m happy to sell separately, or include if the price is appropriate.
