Looks to match Spire, a 1937 face drawn by Sol Hess for Monotype. Page 288 in McGrew’s American Metal Typefaces…
Interesting similarity to Empire, designed by Morris Fuller Benton for ATF in the same year, 1937. Only difference is that Empire is an sanserif face. Even has the half sized $. No special characters however. Page 128, McGrew.
