Ink Disk Support for a Golding Pearl No. 3
Hello Friends,
I have a new project restoring an 1882 Golding Pearl No. 3. This is my second Pearl No. 3 project. I finished my first one three months ago.
The ink disk support on this press is broken, and it only contains the broken bolted chunk that is still affixed to the back of the bed. Interestingly enough, it is an entirely different support than the one on the 1893 Golding Pearl No. 3 that I just finished restoring.
So I’m reaching out to find out if anyone has a press with a similar ink disk support. I’m confident I can cast or machine a reproduction if I can just see what a similar one looks like…
