Parts Availability
I just got the following message from Heidelberg USA :”I’m sorry but we no longer have these available due to the age of the equipment.” I was afraid this was going to start happening one day in this case with the 10x15 and 12x18 platens. They had all sorts of parts in inventory until just recently. I was looking for a simple part, in this case, the runners or trucks, for the 10x15. I have another source but they are not the same high quality Heidelberg was.
Yes Fritz sad day, I was getting my Miehle parts from Rockwell international in the mid 90’s, they even had the original Bill of sale of my v-36 to Valiant Printing in Albuquerque from 1927!
