I have recently purchased a tabletop platen press. There are a few obvious details on the press..
Victor Mfg. Co. Boston, Mass
Is it a Victor? Or simply made by the Victor company?
When would you guess it was made? 1890’s?

On the second roller the trucks sizing is larger which is why they are setup farther apart than what is normal.
