Richmond Letterpress Group

I am a letterpress printer located in Richmond, Virginia and I would very much like to be a part of the next meeting of local letterpress printers. If anyone one could point me in the direction of who to contact that would be much appreciated.

Last I heard there is no longer any regular meetings of a group here in Richmond, I also print letterpress here in Richmond and would enjoy meeting with anyone who would like to share ideas or info. I am mostly self taught so am always interested in learning new aproaches to problems. feel free to contact me

I am going to try to set up a meeting of Greater Richmond Itinerant Printers Historical and Occasional Gathering (GRIPHOG) in the next month or so — probably sometime in March. Possibly at my house about 25 miles North of Richmond. If you’ll send an email to me I will be sure to notify you when it’s arranged.

I’d also like to be included in a GRIPHOG get-together. I’m here in Stephens City, VA—-just South of Winchester. As far as I can tell, there are no letterpress clubs or associations in the region; only isolate printers here and there, none of whom seem to require interaction with another letterpress collector. Might be that Richmond can become the hub for that kind of action.
