Printing two colors…

Does anyone know how to print two colors from one photopolymer plate? I’m assuming inking has to be done by hand but I’m curious if anyone has hands-on knowledge/advice.

Thanks,

MJ

1. Place the photopolymer on the plate.
2. Cut out the part that will be in a second color.
3. Remove that part.
4. Ink up the press and print the first color. Clean up.
5. Put the cut out piece back on the plate.
6. Carefully remove the first color part of the photopolymer.
7. Ink up the press and print the second color.

I have used this to print invitations (party, birth, and weddings invitations and announcements) where the names are in one color and the text is in second color.
Because the piece fits snugly in its place, you should not have any registration problems.

Have fun.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate your help.
