Opportunity for beginners
Just a note to remind beginners (and everyone else) of the huge sale next Saturday at the Platen Press Museum in Zion, IL. Zion is north of Chicago and south of Milwaukee, near the state line, along Lake Michigan. This is a fantastic opportunity for beginners (and others) to pick up type, presses, tools and accessories at reasonable prices. See more details in the Classified section on this site.
This is also a wonderful opportunity to meet other letterpress printers and share your questions or knowledge.
It takes me 6 hours to drive there, but it is always worth the effort .
