Unfortunately all rather vague, but on opening a sealed wooden monotype box today I discovered this odd machine inside…

It is a mold for a Monotype Composition caster.

And it is from English Monotype, not Lanston, nicely preserved in a wooden box. Used for casting type. Any others?
