At the start of the year I purchased an Adana 8x5 press.
But I was wondering if there is a way to print onto stock that is A1/A2 size. I know it would be possible to print onto the bottom edge, is it also possible to print in the centre?

You can essentially print on paper any size so long as you rig up some sort of support for the edges hanging off the platten.
HOWEVER, as you’ve already worked out you are limited by how far the paper can go towards the hinge.
Without folding the paper there isn’t much you can do about this, so no it isn’t possible to print in the centre of an A1 sheet on an Adana 8x5.
