Could an Adana press be used for linocut printing?
I’ve been looking for an affordable way to get back into printing, I used to do lots of lino/woodcut printing, and wonder if an Adana press would allow me to do this, or are they only really suitable for letterpress’? Any thoughts? Thank you!
They’ll work, but the size may be limited. You might be served better by a small, tabletop etching press, given the prices that Adana presses sometimes carry.
Or a proofing press, mount your lino cuts on a base, wood or metal and you’ll obtain a better result.
