Roller Questions
Hello All!
I am having a bit of trouble getting proper ink distribution. On each impression there is a buildup of ink on the top of the first row of type as if the rollers are hitting the type too hard. I was wondering if this could be caused by swollen rollers, or perhaps worn rails? I am going to try a bit of tape on the rails to see if that solves the problem. Am I on the right track, or is this caused by something else entirely? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

I answered my own question. Built up the rails with some tape and it works wonderfully.

what are the pros and cons to different types of rollers? composition vs. rubber vs. synthetic?
