Hand presses to see in the New England area

For those in the New England area who are interested in iron hand presses like the Washington press, the Museum of Printing in North Andover, MA, just outside of Boston, has one of the best collections around – ten or more iron hand presses by several different manufacturers, including the only known example of Samuel Rust’s late Washington hand press, the only recorded Marder, Luse & Co iron hand press, one of only two known hand presses made by Tarbett & Fraser Co. of Boston, and others. They also have copies of A Field Guide to North American Hand Presses and Their Manufacturers available for purchase in their store. Check them out! (Posted by Bob Oldham)

I wish I had been aware of this 4 or 5 years ago when we went to Walden Pond in Concord.
We got to see the Roycrofter Musuem in East Aurora, NY, so it wasn’t a total letterpress related waste. They didn’t have any hand presses there, however.
Thanks for posting this. Maybe one day I’ll get back out that way.
