edge painting synthetic paper

I kwow that most are secretive with their techniques for edge painting. I thought I’d ask though if anyone has any experience with edge painting synthetic papers.

More specifically, I am planning to edge paint Hop Synthetic 20 pt paper and am looking for recommendations for maximizing the ink grip on the paper while minimizing rub off. Has anyone painted the edges of synthetic paper?

Any help with this would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Joshua

You’d probably be fine with an airbrush and airbrush ink for automotive detailing. Alternately, spray paint formulated for plastics might work. Do stock tests on small batches before proceeding; that’s the biggest rule with edge painting.
