Chipboard

I want to print on chipboard but I’m using a vandercook 4. Just curious if chipboard is to thick to throw through the rollers. Or if there is any chipboard out there that isnt so thick. Any advice?

When you’re printing the paper shouldn’t really pass through the rollers, just between the main cylinder and the typematter. Chipboard comes 20-100+pt in thickness, really depends what thickness chipboard you are trying to print. Always print with the grain running parallel to the cylinder for best feeding, especially with thicker stuff. Chipboard is hard and unforgiving to your type and press, don’t print too hard.
