Slowing Down A Kimble Motor on a 10x15 Newstyle C&P

Good morning,

My Chandler and Price New Style Press came equipped with a wonderful reconditioned Kimble motor that seems to do a fine job running the press.
However, probably since I am a ‘newbie” to hand feeding……. it seems to be running a bit to fast for my comfort zone. Might there be a way to slow it down just a little bit?

Do you have a photo of the motor? Many of the Kimbles were variable speed (via brush) motors and would have a lever that allowed for the slowing/speeding up of the press.

Mika what hp is your motor? Mine is a 1/3 hp and the press runs very slowly.
