One-on-one letterpress workshops

I am opening my well-outfitted letterpress shop to one-on-one workshops for all experience level of printers. So, whether you are a beginner looking to get versed in all things letterpress and want to get some hands-on experience, are a hobbyist looking to crank out some cards of your design, or are a seasoned printer looking to brush up on your skills, or just want to get your hands on a big ol’ Vandercook SP20 and one of the best wood type collections in the Northwest, these one-day workshops can be tailored to fit your needs. I also have an 8”x12” Challenge Gordon press on which I can teach scoring or printing on a platen press. I can also offer keen insights on paper sourcing, ink color mixing, and hand setting metal type or working with photopolymer plates.

I conduct the workshops on Saturday or Sunday and can be flexible on dates to meet your schedule.
