Letter Press - Galley racks - Hamilton Equipment
My Father had started and run a typesetting shop for years. He passed away bacin 2006, leaving me with a lot of great pieces of equipment. Too many to mention, will try to write later about other items.
HAMILTON & GRAPHICS ARTS PRODUSTS - galley racks both short and 2 different size long galleys and racks to hold them. I don’t want to scrap these as I know there are younger guys that are interested.
HAMILTON - 4 rows - 25 places ea. row. GALLY size is 9” x 13”. There are serial numbers listed on ea. didn’t write those down.
Hamilton Long Galley rack and galleys 1 of these 4 rows 25 slots ea. of 4 rows. Galley size is 6.5” x 23.75”.
Have 1 Graphics Arts Products rack same demensions as above Hamilton.

My questions is this what is a fair price without giving them away??
I don’t want to charge too much and I would like to see these in great condition racks used by those that have the spark and interest the way all did.
Hope to hear from anyone about this and other items I have available.

Where are you located? A buyer would probably have to be close enough to pick them up. Are they easy to get out of the building they are in (e.g. in basement, on first floor, loading dock nearby, etc). Thanks, Geoff

You are right - forgot a few details, thanks Geoff.
The galley racks that I talked about above are located in Green Bay, WI less that 1 mile form the “Green Bay Packers - Lambeau Field”. All of our items are on the ground floor and can be loaded easily onto a pick up truck or trailer with some kind of good weight capacity.
Arrangements can be made at any time, preferrably late Fridays or the weekend.
