Padgett Any Angle Furniture
Searching for the knowledge from those “Ole Printers”
I have a wood box of Padgett Any Angle Furniture.
I have not been able to find any information on this item.
Any information that is shared would be appreciated.
Thanks
have the exact same set. you use the pieces that have the straight side to make a box, the curved ones go inside, the type fits in the middle, then you can turn the type at almost any angle. i’ve used mine once in the 40 years since i bought it. the best part is i have the directions and they are in French if i remember right, i’ll see if i can find them and try to post it.
dickg,
Thanks for the info.
Once in 40 years…glad to know that you used them at least once. Wow!
With such usefulness noted, I’m sure they will fetch a a handsome price…or not!

I have a Challenge Any-Angle chase that operates in the same way. I will get a picture when I can. I have always thought it’d be fun to make some up in large sizes.

I know this has been asked before, but any idea where one might purchase such items - I called a local type maker here in the L.A. area and could hear him scratching his head over the phone at my query!
duffmo, you can make them out of wood pretty easily.
I have a project I just started to flesh out the ideas for and I will be needing to make a good many custom shaped furniture for it.
Even though it would be easier to do a poly plate!
i found mine, the directions are in French, there is an address and name: Deberny et Peignot, 18 rue ferrus paris XIV - tel oob. 68-72. i will post a picture or two if i can figure it out, don’t hold your breath. there is a date someone wrote on the box 1969.
