Is repair possible

I cracked the frame that holds the platen (where the adjusting screws are) on a 6.5” x 10” Craftsmen. Is there any way that can be repaired? Thanks.

Yes, it can be repaired, especially if it is a crack at this point (and not broken).

However, welding cast iron can be tricky. Be sure to have a someone who knows welding cast iron very well.
