Colored Envelopes
This might be a stupid question, but do I need to purchase special envelopes for my letterpress invitations? I sent a Crane Lettra invite with a hot pink envelope through the mail last week (as a test) and the hot pink color bled onto my invitation. It looked terrible. I always see letterpress blogs where they send invites in colored envelopes so I’m wondering if anyone else has had this problem… or if I’m doing something wrong.
Any help would be appreciated! :)

Sometimes I use a clear or frosted envelope as an inner envelope. Nothing happens to it since can’t absorb anything.

you may want to consult the manufacturer, buying third party or dealers, they give you a blank stare.
