I got some used rollers that still have some old ink on them. Is there any way to clean them or do I have to throw them away? How do you generally clean your rollers?
I usually clean my rollers with mineral spirits (paint thinner). For ink that has drieed on very hard, I use a product called “Rapid One-Step” by Van Son Ink and a Scotchbrite pad. It will do the job but make sure you work in a well-ventilated area because it is a very powerful solvent.
Thanks for your reply, Jim.
The dried ink did not went off using any spirits but using a plain brush soap. I have no idea what ink it was though. And I was very surprised that the brush soap worked…
