The font is Winchell Condensed, designed in 1903 by Edward Everett Winchell and introduced in metal by the Inland Type Foundry (both Winchell and Winchell Condensed) Later cast by both ATF and Monotype as well aqs cut into wood type by the Hamilton Mfg. Co.
