C&P 8x12 part

Hey There

I am in need of the shaft that holds the legs of the bed to to base of the main part of the press. I have a machinist friend who can get it for me - but I just need to give the exact dimensions - does anybody have this info? I am going to be able To measure it over the next couple of days - however I thought someone somewhere may have the dimensions handy. It’s for an 8x12 old style.

Is there any threads in there also?

21” long, 1” diameter shaft. Smooth, no threads. Measured from my 1910 OS 8x12.
