Finally got a chance to search McGrew and on p.341 the first face listed under Antique Typefaces is Anglo, which “originated with the Great Western Type Foundry, later Barnhart Brothers & Spindler, in Chicago, under the same name, in 1899 or earlier.” It was apparently recast by LA Type Foundry and was available from them in 18 and 24 point. It sure looks like your type, though a clean proof would confirm it. Check the pinmark.
