Union Pearl

I’ve acquired a fair bit of Union Pearl (unopened) and am not particularly interested in using it.

Does anyone know if it’s worth anything? (I’ve heard very contrasting opinions)

Any further opinions very welcome.

Depending on how much you want for it, of course, I would be interested.

As ever, it’s worth what someone will pay for it :) How much did you pay for it? Do you have a price in mind?

I think this was a Stephenson Blake reissue from the mid 20th century. Is it just me, or does it appear to have some corrosion issues?

I was recently given a small package of brand-new Union Pearl, cast by Stephenson Blake in the 1970s. It was still wrapped in the original foundry packaging and had been stored in a clean, dry, warm location, yet is affected by corrosion in several places. There’s a dull, grey surface powder on some characters, but after gentle cleaning with a soft brush and some white spirit it seems to print OK.
