Letterpress event of the decade
I just want to make everyone aware of the the absolute best opportunity to obtain fantastic letterpress type and equipment that has come along in decaders!!!!!!
The Amalgamated Printers Association’s Wayzgoose in Denver June 21-24 will incorporate its own swap meet and auction, buy will also include the Jim Gresenti auction, which includes an unblievable amount of antique wood and metal typefaces. An in-tact collection like this does not come but maybe once in some people’s lifetime.
Please Google apa retro goose for all the details and lists of auction items as well as pictures. These events are open to both members and non-members alike. A schedule of events and registration forms are on this site.
In forty years f collecting, I have never seen anything quite like this.
I would love to go on and on about all of this, but I’m recovering from a recent small stroke and typing does not come back easily to me yet. I hope to see everyone in Denver for what could be the experience of a lifetime for you all.

I would love to make it out to Denver!! It’s hard to tell if it’s in the cards for us though - we are opening a storefront and probably shouldn’t stray too far. Thank you for the info though!
