Litho ink

Dear all, will this ink be OK to use for wood & lead type on a proof press (hand brayering)?

Just wondering what they mean by washing out…

Yes you can use on letterpress.
They are saying you must wash up the press when done with your run and not leave in the press overnight.
It is an oil base ink and will dry on the press

I use litho ink all the time for letterpress. Litho printing prints with a thinner film of ink, so to compensate the pigments were more intense in colour, where as letterpress put down a heavier film. Yes, make sure you clean up at the end of the day.

Thanks both
