Kelsey Star Jobber 7x10” Letterpress
Chase size is 7x10”
Exact year unknown, early 1910-1920’s.
Operates using original treadle or variable speed motor (attached and in working condition). I can send a video of it running with the motor.
Weighs approx. 500 pounds
I purchased this press in regular working condition from a hobby printer based in Laguna, CA in 2012. Unfortunately, I never found the time to use it, although my father-in-law who was a printer did power it up a couple years ago and everything appears to be in working order.
I paid $2,500 plus a hefty freight cost for this press in 2012. I’d love to find someone local who is interested in moving it to a new home. Asking $1800 obo.
Includes 2 new feed boards (not shown), and a large box of various ink/supplies.
