Webendorfer 9x12 SN: 150.L.G (Little Giant) Information

I have a new to me Webendorfer, serial 150.L.G. I assume that the “L.G.” at the end of the serial number stand for Little Giant. It also came with a die cutting jacket that has printed on it “Little Giant Model 1” I will include a photograph. I am looking for more information on the press, and similar presses. More specifically:

Does anyone else have a Webendorfer 9x12, or Little Giant Model 1?

Does anyone have literature on Webendorfer presses, or know of an archive that has some literature?

For those who have Little giant presses, who is making your rollers?

That’s all for now, thank you in advance for your help.

An update, I am cleaning the press, and I found a casting above the nameplate, “01.” Attaching that casting and the nameplate.

Gerald -

Adrian at Ramco Roller makes the rollers for all my presses, including the Little Giant Model 6.

That’s a neat Webendorfer. Anxious to see it running. Good luck with your new acquisition.

Michael,

Thank you for that. I’ll reach out to Adrian and see if he has ever made rollers for this press before. Maybe he’s already got the specifications on file.

I turned it on and let it run this morning. It has a lot of accumulated gunk, and I’ve been cleaning out old grease and oil and replacing it. I’ll post a video somewhere in the near future. It has good suction still, I got it to pick up a sheet and feed once, but it didn’t pick it off the cylinder well.

I’ll keep making updates here as well.

Gerald - the rollers for my LG 6 are 2” diameter. Your Webendorfer may be same?
