Kobo TC 180 hot foil Press
Has anyone in the Briar Press community had any experience with a Kobo TC 180 hot foil Press. I have just been given one and I am trying to figure out the following. When I pull the lever to hot foil the bottom plate is drawn in under the hot plate to foil the material resting on the bottom plate. Should the bottom plate come back out after the foil impression to allow you to remove the foiled article? or do you have to pull the bottom plate out each time?
