Chase size indicates ?
Hi everyone and anyone! Simple question here…so if the press is a 12x18 or 10x15, does that mean the size of the space printable? or is it less? for instance, if i have a 10x15, can I print a page of 8x10 easily?
thanks guys!

The chase size is the maximum printable area, but not the maximum sheet size. However, most presses have trouble socking a large forme hard enough to print it on anything but the smoothest paper. With a 10x15 you should have no trouble printing an 8x10 area, but much larger than that may be a problem if it is mostly type or a large cut.
thx for the info Ad Lib! =)
