Help- Scoring 220# Lettra

I have done it as an example for designers of “what not to do”…

We’ve seen “successful” kiss-cutting, in which one layer of the 220# duplex is cut through but not the other, to ease folding. However, this is a stock that simply doesn’t want to fold.

I recently made a custom box to go with a wedding invite and used 220 Lettra, I used .918 cutting rule and kiss cut it, scoring it won’t work.

We are going for the kiss cut. Thank you for your
input. This is not something that we would normally
even think about doing with this stock, special circumstance.
