Photos of your studio/shop…

I’m in the beginning stages of setting up a small (200sq ft) shop and I was wondering if you would show photos of your set-up. As with my home office, I am always inspired by the use of small spaces by other artists.

Thank you in advance!

Hello sb,

I didn’t have any space at all for a studio, so I usurped the living room:

This used to be my workshop in Edinburgh. I’m in the process of moving to France (since last year) and everything has been put in storage. I’m dying to find a place to take it to.

Living rooms are so 20th century.

Thanks! The delivery board makes a great TV dinner tray, if I had room for a TV. Things have grown a bit more crowded since those photos were taken and the small bedroom in the back and part of my bedroom have become useful also. Fortunately the cat hasn’t complained.

I have some pictures of our shop on a Flickr page. It might not be the best example for a 200 square foot space though!

These are great! With small spaces I realize that if it can be put on casters…put it on casters!
