Online typesetting tutorials?

Hi all,

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but for some reason I’m coming up blank.

I’m not a total beginner to letterpress, but it’s been awhile and I’m a bit rusty. I was wondering if anyone knew of any handy websites or videos online that cover the basics of setting type, locking up forms, etc.

I’ve found one or two videos online, but mostly just for setting a single line of type. I’m more interested in a refresher on the steps following that, especially when it comes to printing larger blocks of type…

Thanks!

Check Don Black’s website i think he has videos about typesetting, if not Excelsior press in New Jersey has lots of info on his site. Good Luck Dick G.

I’d start with this old educational film.

Have a look around that site. There are full scans of some really nice instructional printing books.
