Letterpress Motors
I have a Challenge GP-15 Proof Press and I think the motor is starting to die, as it has been getting far too hot in recent prints. It was oiled about a month ago, and has not gotten any better. Where is the best place to find a general AC 1/3hp motor for this kind of application? Its a 60 cycle, 1725rpm, continuous motor. I was told a 1/2hp might work better.

Grainger has motors that will match up. WWW.grainger.com. Match up all of the information on the plate with the Grainger motor and it will work great.
A 1/2 or 3/4 HP motor will definitely work better. 1/3 is pretty small.
