copy press

I will be teaching a class next week to elementary kids. I want to explain and demonstrate one of my copy presses. I have tried several methods of getting a copy but without any results. I have tried very thin paper, sumi paper and neither one copies from the original. It there a special kind of ink that is used on the original that will allow a copy to present itself? I would like to inform the folks that this is a copy press rather than a book press. THanks

Tom

I found this website when I was searching for information about Multigraph paper folding machines. It has some interesting information regarding copy presses. Maybe it will help.
