Heidelberg Parts

Anyone know of good places to check for more obscure Windmill parts? I’ve been troubleshooting problems with the guides on my press for a while and just now realized that the support bracket for the whole system, the one that’s bolted to the lower drive-side of the platen, has a huge crack in it and it’s not really connected to the press at all.

I’ve submitted a wanted ad, but I’m guessing I’m going to have to go somewhere that keeps weird parts around to find this one. Part T2001, page 107 of the parts catalogue.

Get ready for sticker shock—Heidelberg parts (especially new) are expensive.

Good luck,
Brad.

Yep, two small pieces of cast iron are $500 in Heidelberg’s world—used.

Can’t afford to not have a register system though, so I did make the order. Nice to be able to get it straight away, I guess….

Thanks for the recommendation, Whittenburg was very helpful.

You could try someone on http://heidelbergrepair.com/
I have found this very helpful at times

if you have a diagram of the part, or the original you could probably get one made at a local machine shop.

Heidelberg parts listed on Ebay all the time. I have some listed, sorry but not that one.
Go to Ebay and type in Heidelberg Windmill parts.
Good luck!
If I see one I will let you know!

Know of a bunch of stripped out windmills. Is it a 10x15? Let me know. I will check stock on Monday when back at my office.

This post is four years old. I’m assuming the part has been replaced.

Hi Larry, and all. Actually I was looking for this very information, so thank you for posting recently! I’m looking for a new ink fountain for my Heidelberg 10x15, and thought stripped out windmills would be my best shot.
I’ll look up on Ebay as is mentioned above, and call Larry tomorrow!!
Cheers,
