Interesting Initials

a Mano has an interesting partial font of swash caps. They are definitely European - Milled at the feet to .918 and measure .533 in point width (about 38.6 pts). I’d like to find the name of the font and the company that cast the type.

Hi Allen,

Those are some really sweet initials. I can’t find them anywhere in my catalogs. I don’t have many early 20th century European foundry catalogs. By the style and grace of these beauties, I suspect that they originated in the 1920s or 30s and are probably from Germany.

That’s my best guess.
