Baltimorean no. 10 question

Now that I am slowly getting my first press cleaned and ready to use (Kelsey 5 x 8), I have the chance to get a Baltimorean no. 10 that needs a roller. It appears complete otherwise. One rod will need slight straightening but nothing is seized and the springs appear sound.

I am tempted but the cost is comparable to the cost of new rollers for my Kelsey—which I also need.

Is there a compelling reason for which I should be seriously considering the Baltimorean? Will it end up being an attractive shelf decoration or is it desirable for use?

I am interested in the experience and opinions of others who know about this press.

Thanks much!
Joe

If you are twisted like me there is some strange enjoyment from printing with small presses, kids seem to like it to. Other then a hand full of not so great businesses cards do not expect much more.

Thanks Todd,

I think I am being influenced by the “cute” factor—which it certainly is.

Do you make rollers for presses of this size also?

Joe

I do have most of the small and toy press rollers
