13x18 windmill impression setting
Hey guys,
Ive started letterpress recently and im finding i need to put alot of pressure (around 15 on the impression lever) i just wanted to hear from someone a bit more experienced if this is normal ?

I have a 10x15, not 13x18, so the mechanism might be slightly different, but that sounds like you have a broken shear collar.
if you have 1mm as tympan packing zero should be enough for kiss impression
Is 15 even an option!? I don’t think I’ve ever gone beyond 2.

Well my impression lever goes up to anout 20/25. I have replaced my shear pin dennis and still the same issue, if it even is one ?
