Linotype operators - have you seen a Curle spaceband tool
Have any of the Linotype operators on the list ever come across the tool depicted here as shown in US patent number 2583324?

I have not, but it looks handy for pulling bands for cleaning.

Haven’t seen that tool, but I inherited many simple space band hooks made out of coat-hanger wire, shaped like the letter 2, with a serif on the foot.
