For Sale: Palatino and Michelangelo (Stempel Foundry, Germany)
New in packages, never used. Selling as a collection (will not separate).
Trimmed to US Type High (but in Didot point system).
Pickup only in Winchester, MA. Altogether weighs over 30 kg (50-60 lbs).
Various sizes of Stempel Palatino and Michelangelo casted in Germany by Drukerei Gerstenberg. These types were purchased by me during 2014-2017 period and were cast by Herr Gerstenberg himself.
This is the best quality type, on the hardest metal, which will last several decades if cared for properly.

Palatino 12pt (#5333) – 3 founts.
Palatino 14pt (#5334) – 2 founts.
Palatino 16pt (#5335) – 1 fount.
Palatino 20pt (#5336) – 1 fount.
Palatino Italics 14pt (#5649) – half fount.
Michelangelo 20/16p (#5363) – 1 fount.
Michelangelo 24/20pt (#5364) – 1 fount.
Michelangelo 28/24pt (#5365) – 1 fount.
Michelangelo 36/28pt (#5366) – 1 fount.
Didot spacing material (12pt; 14pt; 16pt; 20pt) over 6 kgs in weight.

NOTE: Although these types were trimmed by Herr Gerstenberg to be US Type High (so that you can use it in US presses such as the Vandercook), they are casted following the Didot point system in Europe. Didot types are cast on a slightly different body size. This means it is best not to mix these types and spacing material with other US-originated types (e.g. ATF or US monotype).
