The Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, MA is looking for full size type cases that are either blank (empty? forgive me if I have the wrong terminology) or caps cases to fit a new donation of historic Hebrew and English wood type. The type ranges from roughly 4line to 12line or so (we haven’t gone through it all yet) - but it was donated to us in regular Hamilton cases, making it very difficult to distribute one font per case (especially with the larger type).
We have a small budget, and would welcome a donation. If you have some cases that fit the bill that you are willing to part with, let us know! This will help us at the Center reinvigorate our type collection and bring it back into use.
