As seen in Hamilton’s 1899 Wood Type Catalog, this set — 160 pieces — of 9 line (1.5”) type includes upper case, lower case, numbers and punctuation. Initially a metal typeface named for printer Theodore De Vinne (who recognized the need for a less elaborate typeface than was common at the time - the late 19th century), it was copied by Hamilton Woodtype in 1895. $395.00 or best offer
