Hello! I am eager to finally start my printing practice. I’m a freelance graphic designer and painter. I fell in love with letterpress in college, did an amazing workshop with Hatch Show Print, and would love to incorporate more analog techniques into both my client work and personal projects. From my initial research, I think a tabletop proofing press of some sort may be a good start. I don’t have the funds for a huge investment, but would prefer a press that will last and can work with a variety of type options. Does anyone have experience with the Provisional Press? I am open to any and all suggestions on resources, studios, etc!
